Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC)
Providing Accessible Accounting Education, Guiding Career Pathways, Supporting Student Success
Part-time faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned and promotion of a collegial atmosphere. Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Faculty report directly to the department chair within their respective departments and divisions
Key Responsibilities
  • The Department of Business seeks adjunct instructors to teach Accounting courses. Adjunct instructors are hired by the department, the Division of Business and Law, and Baton Rouge Community College on a term-by-term basis as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field, or master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting or related field.

Preferred Education:
  • Master's degree in Accounting
