  • Partner with internal teams to investigate and resolve accounting questions and discrepancies.
  • Support the Accounting department with additional responsibilities as business needs arise.

  • Previous experience in public accounting or a mid-sized corporate accounting environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and standard accounting practices.
  • Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial documentation.
  • Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Experience with payroll, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or sales-tax accounting preferred.
Technical Skills and Core Competencies

  • Experience working with an enterprise resource planning system preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet business-critical deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Must be willing to complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.
  • This is a full-time, in-office position based in Saint Gabriel, Louisiana.
