Job description

At MJH Life Sciences our success is measured by your success! If you set your standards high and want to contribute to a winning team, we'll provide you with every opportunity to help grow our company and your career. Our associates come from all backgrounds, sharing one key quality: determination to succeed. We value being Service Focused, having a Passion for Winning, Innovation, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork. Nothing means more to us than hiring people with these attributes. If you believe you're right for the job, this is the place to prove it!

We are seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Agency Services team in a dual-focused role that combines faculty relationship management with day-to-day account coordination. You will serve as the primary contact for an assigned roster of faculty members across therapeutic areas while also supporting seamless program delivery for clients. This role is for someone who is highly organized, relationship-driven, and thrives in a fast-moving agency environment - and who uses AI tools to stay ahead of complexity, manage communications more efficiently, and deliver a consistently high standard of service.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned faculty, proactively building collaborative relationships, providing responsive support, and anticipating and resolving challenges before they affect program delivery
  • Use AI tools to improve the efficiency of faculty communications, contract drafting, calendar management, status reporting, and account documentation
  • Strategically manage faculty calendars, aligning schedules with program needs and organizational priorities across therapeutic areas
  • Maintain accurate and current faculty profiles, including academic affiliations, communication preferences, and travel requirements, ensuring personalized and professional support at every touchpoint
  • Draft, review, and negotiate faculty contracts, clearly outlining terms, deliverables, and expectations - and oversee the payment process to ensure timely and accurate compensation
  • Conduct ongoing research to identify and vet potential faculty members, evaluating expertise, speaking strengths, and fit for specific programs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to assess faculty performance and contributions on a regular basis
  • Serve as the day-to-day account contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring program goals are met on time and within scope
  • Coordinate logistics and communications across internal departments - including medical, creative, and operations - to support seamless program execution
  • Track project timelines, flag risks proactively, and provide clear and consistent status updates to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain account documentation including meeting notes, status reports, and project plans
  • Represent MJH Life Sciences at key medical conferences and client-facing events, strengthening relationships with faculty and stakeholders throughout the year

What Sets You Apart

  • Proven experience in faculty management, account management, or client services, preferably within a healthcare, medical education, or agency environment
  • An AI-native mindset. You actively use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or productivity and CRM platforms to improve how you manage relationships, draft communications, and coordinate across multiple workstreams - and you can speak to the impact
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships confidently across multiple stakeholder levels - from faculty and clients to internal teams and leadership
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and concurrent deadlines without losing quality or momentum
  • Strategic and solutions-oriented thinker who anticipates problems and drives resolution before they escalate
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in project management tools and CRM platforms preferred
  • Familiarity with oncology or other specialty therapeutic areas is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 10 to 15 percent of the time for conferences and client meetings
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, life sciences, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field

AI Capability Expectation

Candidates should be prepared to discuss how they are currently using AI in their account management, coordination, or client services work. This includes:

  • Specific tools in active use and how they support relationship management, communications, scheduling, or reporting
  • Measurable impact such as time saved, improved response quality, or increased capacity to manage concurrent accounts and faculty relationships
  • How you use AI responsibly when handling sensitive client, faculty, or program information
  • Bonus: examples of AI-driven workflows or systems that improved account coordination or faculty management efficiency

Compensation Range

$50,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. Compensation will depend on factors including educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Benefits Overview

We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Hybrid work schedule
  • Health insurance through Cigna (medical and dental)
  • Vision coverage through VSP
  • Pharmacy benefits through OptumRx
  • FSA, HSA, Dependent Care FSA, and Limited Purpose FSA options
  • 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with company match
  • Pet discount program with PetAssure
  • Norton LifeLock identity theft protection
  • Employee Assistance Program through NYLGBS
  • Fertility benefits through Progyny
  • Commuter benefits
  • Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability

  • Supplemental Aflac coverage: Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity

We operate with discipline, clarity, and accountability. The ability to effectively leverage AI to improve speed, quality, and output is an expectation in this role, not a preference.
