Job description

Associate Account Services Coordinator

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $19โ€“$20/hour W2

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, standard business hours


Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate Account Services Coordinator โ€“ Open Enrollment to provide administrative, account support, and customer service assistance within the Account Services team.

In this role, you will support internal and external customers by processing account and benefit-related requests, maintaining accurate account information, researching and resolving issues, and assisting with open enrollment activities. You will work closely with Account Services Coordinators and Account Managers to ensure client requests are handled accurately and timely.

This is a 6-month onsite contract opportunity in Alpharetta, GA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the processing of customer requests, including benefit summaries, administrative changes, contact updates, and other account-related requests.
  • Maintain an understanding of customer benefit structures, products, and plan designs to accurately process administrative and non-rated changes.
  • Review and maintain accurate account data within internal systems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather information for client presentations, reports, inquiries, and issue resolution.
  • Research account and customer issues using available systems and workflows and communicate resolutions to the appropriate parties.
  • Interpret information from internal departments and provide clear, concise responses to external customers.
  • Assist with open enrollment meetings and activities, including preparation and customer support.
  • Occasionally assist with or deliver presentations to customers onsite or through virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Support special projects and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling customer, account, and benefits-related information.
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in sales, account management, client services, customer support, insurance, benefits administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office applications.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and Zoom for meetings and presentations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and follow-through.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with different types of data.
  • Ability to research issues, identify solutions, and communicate information clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information professionally.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health, dental, or employee benefits insurance.
  • Experience supporting open enrollment activities or meetings.
  • Familiarity with benefit summaries, Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), service guarantees, or contractual language.
  • Knowledge of dental products, services, and terminology.
  • Familiarity with Current Dental Terminology (CDT) codes.
  • Experience working in account services, insurance operations, benefits administration, or client account management.
