What is assisted living?

Assisted living is a type of residential care for older adults or people with disabilities who need help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, medication management, and meals, but do not require the intensive medical care provided in nursing homes. Facilities typically offer private or semi-private apartments, meals, social activities, and on-site staff available 24/7. Assisted living aims to support independence while providing a safe and supportive environment tailored to the needs of each resident.

What Are Different Jobs in Assisted Living Facilities?

Staff in assisted living facilities often face challenges such as balancing the diverse needs of residents, managing time effectively amidst a busy schedule, and maintaining clear communication with families and healthcare professionals.
