Job description

Who We Are:

Prime Robotics is a premier provider of end-to-end automation solutions tailored for distribution centers and warehouses. Prime’s suite of robot and execution software solutions transform fragmented workflows, empowering clients to unlock operational productivity and efficiency. Committed to revolutionizing warehouse, supply chain, and factory operations, Prime strives to elevate businesses through best-in-class automation solutions and services.

If you want to build hardware and software that physically changes how warehouses operate and see your work rolling across a live warehouse floor, Prime Robotics is the place to do it!

About the role:
Not many Product roles let you see your product decisions move physical things in the real world. We are a fast-growing warehouse robotics and automation startup building intelligent, production-scale systems for real customer operations and we are looking for a Product Owner who finds that genuinely exciting. We move fast and operate lean, which means our team members have an outsized impact and wear multiple hats. You will own the backlog and requirements across one or two scrum teams, work closely with the Senior Product Manager on roadmap direction, and keep Agile ceremonies running smoothly. This is a fully on-site role with cross-time zone collaboration with product team members globally. If you want to build something that matters in an industry being transformed by robotics and automation, this is the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback, support trends, and usage data to identify product gaps and opportunities
  • Lead discovery activities including customer interviews, usability observations, and prototype validation; translate findings into clear, testable behavior-driven user stories
  • Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager to define, prioritize, and maintain the product roadmap, translating strategic initiatives into epics and release themes while proactively identifying dependencies and risks
  • Own and continuously groom the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, estimated, and sequenced for sprint readiness using data-driven prioritization frameworks (WSJF, MoSCoW, value vs. effort)
  • Lead backlog refinement sessions with engineering to drive shared understanding and surface complexity early
  • Define user acceptance testing (UAT) in close collaboration with engineering and customer facing teams to confirm delivered features meet defined requirements
  • Facilitate and participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives, helping the team maintain cadence, remove blockers, and continuously improve ways of working
  • Collaborate effectively with other product team members across a distributed, global team including regular cross-time zone syncs with our China office, maintaining alignment through structured async communication and clear written documentation
  • Partner with customer support to surface and triage field issues, incorporating bug prioritization and customer-reported feedback into backlog decisions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role in a software product environment
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies with strong understanding of sprint cadence and ceremony facilitation
  • Hands-on experience with backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a lean startup environment where roles and responsibilities continue to evolve

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management software, including familiarity with WMS, WCS, WES, conveyor systems, or robotics (AMRs, AS/RS)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification; experience working in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe, LeSS)
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices and tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow for requirements definition and test collaboration
  • Experience collaborating with distributed or offshore teams

Please note that this role will be based on-site, full-time. This role will spend time at our Denver, CO and our HQ in Lakewood, CO.

The minimum expected base salary for this role is $90,000 annually informed by external market data. Actual offers will depend on factors such as the candidate’s experience, education, training, key or critical skills, and current market and business conditions.

Our hiring process may incorporate AI-assisted tools to support activities such as application review, resume screening, and response evaluation. These tools are used to assist our recruitment team and do not make hiring decisions independently. All final decisions are made by a human reviewer. For questions about how your personal data is handled during this process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
