Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: (In-Office, Remote, or Hybrid Options Available)
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and lead high-performing teams. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining service quality, and driving operational excellence across assigned departments.
This position offers flexibility to work in-office, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity across our multiple locations throughout North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, workflow distribution, and service levels
  • Monitor team productivity, quality, and turnaround times
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to meet performance goals
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Manage escalations and resolve operational issues
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staffing coverage
  • Partner with HR on employee relations and performance management
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and two (2) years of operational experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position, unless otherwise required by applicable laws or regulations
  • Experience leading teams in a production or operations environment
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an in-office, remote, or hybrid environment using tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and email

Preferred
  • Experience in background screening or investigations
  • Advanced FCRA Certification from the Professional Background Screeners Association (PBSA) preferred, or required within 3 months of hire
