Responsibilities

Radiology Assistant Job Details:

  • Act as the operational engine of the department, directly managing the flow of patients to ensure our imaging equipment remains in constant use
  • Greet and gown patients, performing initial screenings, and facilitating rapid room turnovers to minimize wait time
  • Scan medical documentation into the PACS/Merge system to ensure Radiologists have immediate access to patient histories
  • Bridge the gap between the waiting room and the scanner for increased departmental throughput, reduced technologist burnout to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for every patient

Radiology Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist technologist with coordinating workflow
  • Patient transport
  • Answer phones
  • Prepare imaging table clean linen and assist the patients on and off the imaging table

Radiology Assistant Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma / Equivalent required
  • Prior MA/PCA experience preferred
Pay RangeUSD $20.97 - USD $25.00 /Hr.Qualifications
