Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with 4+ years of hands-on experience to support, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, system administration expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and secure IT operations.

Job Description
  • Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016-2022)
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, and access controls
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security; proactively resolve issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 / Exchange administration
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance
  • Troubleshoot network and system issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, connectivity)
  • Support virtualization environments (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
  • Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and incident records
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, and Business teams to support operational needs
  • Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support and escalate issues as needed
  • Maintenance
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.
  • Manage existing and/or deploy new instances of Jirra, Git, LDAP, Jenkins, VMWare environments.

Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role
  • Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
  • Hands-on experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure / Azure AD (Entra ID)
  • Familiarity with security tools (Defender, Splunk, Qualys, etc.)
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Exposure to IT governance, compliance, or security best practices
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, VMware)
