Job description

System Administrator

Immediate need for an experienced, skilled, and motivated System Administrator to join the team. As a System Administrator, she or he is responsible for implementing, integrating, and managing infrastructure, unified communication systems, and endpoint devices to support ODA's business operations for the aging community.

  • Design infrastructure architecture to align with department's strategic plan, including servers, cloud, networks, VoIP, etc.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter.
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
  • Lead the implementation of new technology solutions and upgrades to existing systems, ensuring both the technical deployment and successful rollout management to minimize disruption and maximize efficiency.
  • Perform windows updates, software patches, and firmware upgrades.
  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
  • Provide configuration recommendations and assistance to include troubleshooting and de-bugging support for implementation projects and initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal and external users, and outside vendors to effectively plan, deploy, and maintain production environment.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests, including server, network, and endpoint devices.

Responsible for the endpoint device deployment.

  • Respond to security related activities to maintain network security and data reliability.
  • Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting software and application systems as assigned.

Assist the on-going mobility projects in process development and documentation to ensure a smooth and consistent end user experience.

Write and edit automation scripts to increase systems and task efficiency.
