Job description

Job Summary:
Arcfield is a company looking for a Junior System Administrator to maintain the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems. The role involves developing solutions to technical problems, performing system security administration, and monitoring system resources.
Responsibilities:
• Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following detailed instructions, work is supervised.
• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers
• Monitor and manage systems backup resources, including daily backups, restores, CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
• Perform systems security administration functions, including updating and patches OS and systems and software programs.
• Interact with backup customers.
• Other duties may include; setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS and 0-2 years experience
• COMPTIA Security +
• Ability to obtain secret level security clearance
Preferred:
• Experience with supporting Backup system procedures
• Rubrik Backup & Recovery experience
