This position is based onsite at EnSafe's corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN, located on our beautiful campus. Relocation assistance is available for candidates who need to relocate to meet this requirement.
What We're Looking for:
We are seeking an IT professional with a strong foundation in service desk or desktop support who is ready for the next step. In this role, you'll combine hands-on user support with growing ownership of systems administration, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, security, and infrastructure. If you're eager to learn, take on new challenges, and build a long-term career in IT, we'd love to hear from you. The successful candidate will receive direct mentorship from the Director of Information Technology and a defined path to Systems Administrator as scope and independence grow.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities of this position will include:
  • Handle day-to-day Active Directory and Entra ID administration: user and group lifecycle, permissions, and group policy updates.
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive, including licensing and service health monitoring.
  • Own endpoint provisioning, configuration, and compliance through Microsoft Intune (Windows, iOS, Android), including application packaging, deployment, and patch and update rings.
  • Run server patching on a defined schedule. Monitor backups, test restores, and follow documented recovery procedures.
  • Take Tier 2 escalations from the service desk through Freshservice, documenting resolution and root cause.
  • Assist with security operations: endpoint detection and response alerts, email security, and log review.
  • Coordinate with our managed network services partner on Fortinet infrastructure, including scheduling and escorting maintenance windows and validating changes.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and asset inventory.
  • Participate in change management and vulnerability remediation.
  • Assist with office openings, moves, and integration work as the company grows.
  • Take Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalations from the service desk through Freshservice, documenting resolution and root cause. Like everyone on a team this size, you'll also pick up front-line tickets when volume calls for it.

Minimum Skills and Requirements:
  • 2+ years in desktop support, service desk, or a junior systems role in a Windows and Microsoft environment.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune or an equivalent endpoint management platform.
  • Comfortable using PowerShell for routine administration, with the appetite to build real scripting depth.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls) sufficient to troubleshoot alongside vendors.
  • Experience working in a ticketing system and following a defined change process.
  • Strong documentation habits.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+, or Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MD-102, MS-102), held or in progress.
  • Exposure to any of: CrowdStrike Falcon, Fortinet network equipment, Sumo Logic or another SIEM, privileged access management platforms.
  • Experience supporting a multi-site organization.
