Job Summary:

The Partnership Manager, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for the development, activation, and renewal of strategic corporate partnerships for Vail Resorts’ 37 North American Ski resorts and key lines of business to deliver the company’s partnership revenue targets. These partnerships drive and amplify brand affinity of our 37 resorts and corporate partners alike, while also enhancing the guest experience. This position requires an innovative, results-driven individual with key accountability for developing and implementing strategic partnerships and programs for the company, with a strong focus on client management.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously at various stages
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Professional presentation skills, public speaking, and presentation skills
  • Excellent relationship building and on-going support skills
  • Can effectively tailor their communication style and message depending on the audience from C level executives to front line staff

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $75,000.00 - $93,000.00 + Annual Bonus 

  • Employment Type: Year Round  

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, develop and manage, in concert with the partners, fresh and innovative activations and programs in tune with Vail Resorts’ resort initiatives providing incremental value for both parties.
  • Act as a single point of contact, facilitator and, often times, the decision-maker for alliance partner pertaining to internal sponsorship requests (resort events, employee incentives, employee benefits).
  • Manage and control strategic partner expenses against revenue in line with the department financial goals and objectives
  • Renewal/contract extension of partnership that they manage during the final year of a partner’s term.The expectation is to work closely with the Strategic Partnerships Leadership on the renewal process.
  • Create and deliver a comprehensive annual sponsorship report outlining all rights and benefits received including marketing value and financial ROIs.
  • Ability to become knowledgeable and capable of professionally communicating to partners the broad and high-level marketing plans and strategies for Vail Resorts.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Job Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in sponsorship and/or partnership account management or key account management position representing all aspects of a sponsor(s) activation, event planning, execution,relationship management, budget management, ROI reporting, etc.
  • Minimum College or University Undergraduate Completion or equal work experience.
  • This position may require limited travel and interaction with and entertainment of our partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to build solid partner relationships to deliver on partner business goals and objectives, and build long-term, multi-year partnership loyalty.
  • Executive level communications skills to communicate the needs of the partner to Vail Resort operations, marketing, sales, communications, hospitality teams and vice versa.

        Anticipated date of which the application window will close is July 31, 2026. 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $75,000.00 - $93,000.00 + Annual Bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
