Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly is a 100% employee owned grocery chain with 10 locations in Southeastern Wisconsin. We have been awarded "Top Workplace" by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for several years in a row. Here is a snapshot of the duties you can expect:


SCOPE OF POSITION: A 2nd Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the coordination of store operations. They work under the guidance of the Store Director to organize, plan, and implement a strategy. They also ensure store schedules and objectives are met by team members while monitoring inventory and ordering merchandise based on demand.


SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

1.      Sound working knowledge of overall store operations, department operations, as well as practices and procedures within a retail.

2.      Supervisory experience required with sound human relations skills.

3.      Possess math skills necessary to complete planning, pricing scheduling and percentages necessary within areas of responsibility.

4.      Excellent administrative teams building, mentoring, organization, coordination, and attention to detail and follow through skills.

5.      Provide excellent customer relations, communications and problem solving skills.

6.      Operate store equipment in a safe and efficient manner, including computers. Proficient with spreadsheet and software applications.
