Pay:$17.50-21 per hour

Schedule:40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role
Join our team in "Doing theMost Good" as an Assistant Store Manager. In this support leadership role, you'll assist the Store Manager in all day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, production, sales, store maintenance, customer development, banking, and record keeping procedures. Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Support staff training and supervision asassigned
- Implement strategies to meet production and salesgoals
- Assist manager with store maintenance and appearance, ensuring safety, security, cleanliness, andutility
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and Salvation Army safety/securitypolicies
- Work with store manager to keep income and expenses within budgetedparameters
- Protect resources through product control procedures to preventshrinkage
Customer & Community Relations
- Implement customer development and retentionplans
- Create an enjoyable shoppingexperience
- Work proactively to improve The Salvation Army's image among staff andcommunity
- Support The Salvation Army's missionstatement
Administrative
- Support banking and record-keeping procedures
- Document and provide information for personnel reviews and correctiveactions
- Communicate with Store Manager regarding all aspects of storeoperations
- Handle all other duties asassigned
