Job description

Hours: Monday - Friday variable

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for assistance in administering prescribed programs of physical therapy and assist with patient evaluations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association plus 3 to 12 months of experience required.
Passage of a state licensing exam and CPR- certification required.
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS*:
Able to stand and walk frequently; sit occasionally.
Able to lift/carry 0-20 frequently; 21-50 lbs occasionally.
Able to push/pull 0-35 lbs frequently; 36-75 lbs occasionally.
Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.
Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
