Job description

Faulkner University is continually seeking qualified candidates to participate in the Simulation Instructor Candidate Pool for simulation event opportunities at our Montgomery campus and other locations across Alabama. Individuals with simulation instructor experience and appropriate degrees are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Faulkner University.
 
Individuals with pre-identified competencies will be chosen from the Simulation Instructor Candidate Pool to participate in additional application/selection processes as specific needs arise, as determined by Faulkner's Simulation Center Director and/or educators. Individual departments set their own criteria for selecting and approving candidates that include, but are not limited to:
 
      • Significant, applied experience within the professional setting of intended instruction
      • Academic credentials
 
Positions will be available on an as-needed basis and are dependent upon the availability of events in the various fields of instruction. You will be contacted by the simulation center if chosen to participate further in the recruiting process.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of study specified for simulation training event(s)
  • Active or up-to-date licensure within current healthcare field of practice
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare practice
  • Active member of the church of Christ preferred
