Job description

At Mathnasium of Oak Creek, our mission is simple and powerful: Teach children math so that they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

We’re looking for an Assistant Center Director who brings consistency, confidence, and compassion to help deliver on that mission every day. This is an excellent on-site part-time opportunity that averages 25 to 30 hours per week during our operational hours.

About the Role

The Assistant Center Director provides operational support for the center – connecting student success, team performance, and the parent experience. You’ll partner closely with the Center Director to ensure the center runs smoothly behind the scenes while guiding staff, driving awareness, and helping families feel confident in their child’s progress.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building systems, creating clarity, and following through in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.

What You’ll DoStudent Success & Family Engagement
  • Create and manage personalized learning plans based on student assessments
  • Track student progress, maintain materials, and ensure instructional readiness
  • Build trust with parents through clear communication and follow-up
  • Demonstrate compassion through meeting students where they are and ensuring every family has a positive, confidence-building experience
Operations & Environment
  • Keep the center organized, efficient, and set up for daily success
  • Oversee the instructional floor to ensure high-quality, engaging math instruction is being delivered
  • Monitor student engagement and flow, ensuring a strong learning environment
  • Champion an engaging, positive, and fun learning environment
Sales & Marketing
  • Engage prospective families, respond to inquiries, and support enrollments
  • Plan and execute local events to attract new students, build community connection, and celebrate center successes
  • Support and implement Mathnasium of Oak Creek’s social media and marketing efforts to drive awareness and engagement
Leadership Support & Team Development
  • Foster a collaborative, relationship-focused team culture
  • Coach, train, and empower instructors to effectively use the Mathnasium Method
  • Step in to lead center operations when the Center Director is unavailable
  • Drive team accountability, communication, and performance, ensuring that the Mathnasium of Oak Creek team does the right thing for the student, every time

  • Experience coaching, tutoring, teaching, leading, and/or mentoring
Work Schedule
  • 25–30 hours per week (part-time, non-exempt role)
  • Required availability during Mathnasium of Oak Creek’s general hours of operation:
  • Monday through Thursday: 2:00–7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Salary

·      $18-20/hour based on experience
