Educational Requirements: High School Diploma required, some college/business or professional training preferred. Must have a valid, active California Real Estate License.
Background and/or Experienced Required: Real estate sales experience in new home sales and/or resale home sales. Construction knowledge and ability to read plans, a plus. Experience in assisting with interest list, Grand Opening, sales, escrows and closings with professionalism and respect to all. Must be team oriented and customer focused. Requires basic personal computer skills to include sales office software, SalesForce, DocuSign, and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (willing to take classes to expand skill level), good interpersonal and communications skills, and excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities of Position: Reports directly to the Sales Manager. Provides exceptional customer service and respect to everyone daily; utilizing the concepts of Company sponsored training and "Foundations" to sell new homes. Follow buyers escrows until recordation at the county. Be available to assist homeowners after closing. Continually request Customer feedback via Shea Survey & ask for customer referrals on a regular basis. Works closely with the sales and marketing team, construction, customer service and design teams, Shea Mortgage and Shea Advantage and other appropriate outside companies. Community Representative will always maintain close communication with the construction staff. Responsible to assist in selling new homes, follow buyer's escrows until recordation at the county, and be available to assist homeowners after closing. Required to walk all home sites demonstrating available lots to guests and buyers. Must be able to lift items that weigh 25lbs. Position requires Community Representative to stand or sit for long periods of time and work extended hours when necessary. Establish and achieve sales goals consistent with company goals. Open and walk model homes to ensure ready for guest to tour, and close models.
Salary Range: $40,000 /50,000 plus Commission
