Community and Realtor Relations Coordinator

Reporting Relationship: VP of Sales & MarketingDepartment: Shea Homes HoustonLocation: Houston, TexasFLSA Status: Non-Exempt

The Community and Realtor Relations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the marketing efforts for the Shea Homes Houston Division and for working with the sales and marketing team to promote and build realtor and community relationships for Shea Homes and Shea Homes Communities. In addition, the Community and Realtor Relations Coordinator will work with the Marketing Manager to develop and promote relationships with Realtors, community members and participating builders in Houston that can help further Shea Homes and Shea Homes Houston Communities' business success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Realtor Relations

Work with senior management and the field teams to develop programs that can best promote Shea Homes with realtors and the community.

Develop relationships with marketing personnel from some of the largest realtors to grow Shea Homes network of realtors.

Coordinate realtor events like training, open houses, presentations, lunches and other events to increase Shea Homes exposure.

Track realtor successes and the impact to Shea Homes.

Present participation and sponsorship opportunities with community associations and networking organizations (GHBA, local Chambers, realtor networks)

Provide feedback on effort to Marketing Manager to improve outreach methods and events

Marketing

  • Assist with developing plans within budget for Field level marketing that provide the greatest positive impact on sales, including: Assisting with the development of activities and events and working with the Marketing Manager regarding engaging the agency for any public relations communications.

  • Assist with the planning of marketing and opening activities for new communities, including: Determining the type of event that provides the right impact for the cost and proposing and conduct similar activities for other planned community events.

  • Establish media presence on social media platforms as determined appropriate, while staying within Shea Homes standards and policies.

  • Develop social media content often being in photos or videos that will be shared across marketing channels.

  • Work with builder marketing teams on joint marketing opportunities.

  • Ensure all local marketing efforts and creative works comply with Shea brand standards.

  • Responsible for other duties/projects as assigned.

  • Effectively deploy agreed upon marketing and promotional programs.

  • Represent Shea Homes professionally in all situations.

  • Meet the professional needs of the Division senior management related to Community and realtor relations

  • Be detail oriented and have the ability to work independently.

Knowledge/Experience

  • College degree is preferred or equivalent business experience.

  • Knowledge of the home building and real estate industries preferred.

  • Experience with social media and other online marketing.

  • Strong project management experience.

  • Work requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule.
