Job description

Overview

As a RealPage Product Manager, you will help create, maintain, and grow our multifamily leasing platform and SaaS product offerings. This is an individual contributor role focused on building products grounded in realworld property management and leasing operations, working closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders across a global organization. This role reports to a Senior Manager or Director of Product Management.

The ideal candidate combines industry domain knowledge (or strong curiosity to learn it) with solid product execution skills. You understand how leasing products are used at the property level, value intuitive UI and UX, and can translate operational needs into clear product requirements that scale.

 Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the product roadmap for leasingrelated modules and platform capabilities
  • Act as Product Owner for a Scrum team, representing propertylevel users, leasing agents, and operators
  • Gather and analyze customer and stakeholder input to define product features and detailed product requirements, rather than focusing solely on userstory mechanics
  • Define clear requirements, functional expectations, and UX intent for new features and enhancements
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver solutions that are both functionally complete and easy to use
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Compliance, and Implementation to ensure alignment and readiness
  • Communicate regularly with external stakeholders, including customers and partners, to understand needs, validate solutions, and share product direction
  • Lead backlog creation and refinement with a focus on business outcomes, usability, and operational impact
  • Deliver effective product demos for internal teams and external customers, clearly explaining leasing workflows and value
  • Analyze, triage, and support resolution of production issues, especially those affecting leasing operations or renter experience
Qualifications
  • Strong executionoriented, practical mindset with a bias toward solving real operational problems
  • Understanding of multifamily leasing or property management operations is highly valuable (onsite leasing, centralized leasing, or portfolio operations)
  • Handson experience working with or supporting propertylevel users is a strong advantage
  • Strong problemsolving, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers
  • Ability and willingness to continuously learn the industry, domain, and product space, even when prior experience is limited
  • Experience collaborating on UI/UX decisions and working with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or similar)
  • Strong written skills for documenting features, requirements, workflows, and product decisions
  • Analytical and decisive; able to balance innovation, technical debt, and ongoing operational support

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in proptech, property management, leasing operations, or adjacent SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with or interest in AIpowered tools or capabilities, such as:
    • AIassisted workflows
    • Automation features
    • Intelligent decision support or document processing
  • Experience working on workflowheavy, consumerfacing products

Experience and Education:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Business Analyst
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
