Job description

Mindgrub Technologies is an award-winning agency whose mission is to drive efficiency, growth, and ROI through AI and digital innovation. We leverage a deep understanding of technology and growth strategy to deliver multi-channel solutions for enterprise clients, with a strong focus on the energy and utilities sectors.
Position Overview
Mindgrub is seeking a Product Manager to join our Product Strategy team. This highly collaborative role will partner with senior product leaders, designers, engineers, project managers, quality assurance, and client stakeholders to define, build, and deliver custom digital products for enterprise organizations.
This position will initially support multiple strategic client engagements, working alongside a Senior Product Manager to facilitate discovery, manage product backlogs, define requirements, and guide software delivery from concept through launch.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex business problems, thrives in collaborative environments, and is comfortable bringing structure to ambiguous situations. They possess an owner's mindset, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and are eager to learn new industries and business domains.
Mindgrub embraces modern AI-assisted ways of working. Candidates should be comfortable incorporating generative AI tools into research, analysis, documentation, backlog management, and day-to-day product delivery while applying sound judgment and maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy.
This position requires strong communication skills, exceptional organization, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for building software that creates meaningful business value. If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, collaboration, and execution, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
  • Represent the voice of the customer, advocating for user and business needs throughout product delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior product leaders to define product strategy, priorities, and delivery plans.
  • Facilitate workshops focused on discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, ideation, prioritization, and solution definition.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from client stakeholders.
  • Create, refine, and maintain product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release priorities.
  • Participate fully in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other product delivery activities.
  • Coordinate closely with UX designers, software engineers, QA, project managers, and client stakeholders throughout delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through thoughtful communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Identify risks, assumptions, dependencies, and opportunities early, helping teams make informed decisions.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps and release planning alongside senior product leadership.
  • Partner with Mindgrub Account Managers and Project Managers to ensure successful client engagements and software delivery.
  • Leverage generative AI tools to improve research, documentation, backlog refinement, meeting preparation, analysis, and other product management activities while validating outputs for quality and accuracy.
  • Continuously improve product management processes, team collaboration, and delivery practices.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Remote; 9:00am - 5:00pm EST; 30 - 40 hrs / wk
  • July through February with potential to extend.
  • 2 - 6 years of experience managing digital products or custom software delivery in an Agile environment.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional software development teams, including design, engineering, quality assurance, and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and translate business needs into actionable product backlogs.
  • Experience creating and maintaining user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience building productive relationships with enterprise clients or internal business stakeholders.
  • Experience using generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalents) to improve productivity, research, documentation, backlog refinement, and other product management workflows while validating outputs for quality and accuracy.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn new industries, business domains, and technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Five additional years of relevant on-the-job experience may substitute for a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering enterprise SaaS products in addition to experience delivering custom software solutions.
  • Experience working within consulting, digital agency, or professional services environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise clients in complex industries such as legal services, aerospace, healthcare, government, financial services, manufacturing, or energy.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration and product management tools.
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled products.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops, design thinking sessions, or product discovery engagements.
Compensation
  • $75.00 - $85.00 USD per hour
  • Base compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills, education, certifications, geographic location, and overall experience relevant to the role.
