My Valuable Business, LLC (MVB) is a 25+ year professional services firm providing fractional CFO, accounting, marketing, HR, and business advisory services to small and midsize organizations. We partner closely with our clients to help them grow, operate more effectively, and maximize long-term value. Our team is collaborative, thoughtful, and execution-focused. We value strong systems, clear communication, and people who take ownership of their work while continuously looking for better ways to operate.

Job Summary

This role is critical to keeping the executive team focused, organized, and moving forward-managing competing priorities, tracking action items, and ensuring consistent follow-through. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where ideas move quickly and priorities can evolve. You are detail-oriented, confident asking clarifying questions, and comfortable bringing structure to complexity.

Requirements

  • Manage and maintain the executive's calendar across multiple businesses and client engagements
  • Track follow-ups, action items, deadlines, and commitments to ensure accountability
  • Prepare for meetings, take notes as needed, and ensure post-meeting next steps are completed
  • Help organize and prioritize incoming ideas, requests, and projects
  • Assess urgency and timing of tasks (e.g., immediate action vs. future planning)
  • Monitor email communications and assist with drafting, organizing, and responding as appropriate
  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Maintain organized systems for documents, workflows, and information
  • Communicate proactively and consistently with the CEO, COO and internal team members
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Skills Needed

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong follow-through and accountability; able to independently track work to completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to think critically, ask clarifying questions, and provide constructive feedback
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business tools (calendar, email, document management)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must pass a criminal background check
