Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Provider Enrollments Assistant is responsible for initiating and maintaining regular communication with the contract enrollment vendor to support all stages of provider enrollment and payor credentialing for Physicians and other professional providers employed by or billed for through Central Peninsula Hospital. Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle, and with guidance from the Revenue Cycle Operations Manager and Central Billing Office Manager, this position completes individual provider un-affiliation for Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and contracted commercial payors. The specialist also maintains and submits provider rosters as needed and completes initial CAQH setup and re-attestations for providers as directed. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant enrollment submissions, staying current with payor requirements and related software, and building professional relationships with providers to obtain necessary documentation and signatures. Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines are essential to support the seamless onboarding and integration of providers into the healthcare system.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • A minimum of one (1) year of Revenue Cycle experience
PREFERRED:
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist
