Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping projects on track? B-K Lighting is looking for a Project Planner I to support our Product Management team by coordinating product development projects from concept through completion.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate product development projects to ensure schedules, budgets, and project objectives stay on track.
  • Keep the Product Manager informed through proactive communication and weekly project status updates.
  • Coordinate work across Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, and other departments to meet project milestones.
  • Schedule and document product design review meetings.
  • Maintain accurate physical and electronic project documentation.
  • Update project databases and track progress throughout each phase.
  • Manage project-related inventory, samples, and test setups.
  • Partner with Engineering to support cost, quality, and safety considerations.
  • Review and validate invoices from regulatory agencies.
  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies to support product compliance.
  • Assist with Product Information Management (PIM) documentation and website updates.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Trello, FileMaker, ERP systems, or DDM
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute wherever needed

Preferred (but not required) Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting product development or engineering projects
  • Familiarity with product compliance or regulatory processes
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects in a manufacturing environment
