Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering every project on time, within budget, and scope. Project Managers should have a background in construction, architecture, engineering, business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis. Project Managers are skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that they manage. They thrive when planning projects and working with project teams.
Core Job Duties:
  • Responsible for the full life cycle of the project, from take-off to completion.
  • Responsible for project tracking and overall performance.
  • Coordinate internal resources as well as outside vendors and subcontractors to execute project goals
  • Coordinate required permits and inspections along with the Superintendent.
  • Identify and take action to correct any subcontractor non-compliance with job site safety standards.
  • Submit expenses.
  • Approve timecards and submit to accounting.
  • Submit/review/approve Daily logs.
  • Perform stated duties at multiple job sites simultaneously.
  • Ensure that the quality of work being performed on-site meets Hare Construction's and our Client's standards.
  • Assist in the selection process when hiring job site employees.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Create, manage, and adhere to project budgets, schedules, and deadlines
  • Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best possible pricing for materials and labor.
  • Progress billing.
  • Create and maintain proper project-related documentation.
  • Approving all project documentation done by the Superintendent and Project Facilitator.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites with all required signage.
  • Attend / Host weekly jobsite safety meeting.
  • Identifying RFI's and drafting them.
  • Project schedule.
  • Protect the Company and its culture from risk.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or another related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in construction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with team members, as well as clients and subcontractors.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred .
  • Proficient in typing and digital organization / filing.
  • Detail-oriented; ability to work well under compressed timelines; ability to multi-task.
  • Software knowledge (e.g., Autodesk Build, MS Office Suite, including MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, CAD, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Revit, PlanSwift)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of construction plans and specifications
  • Wide range of knowledge in building as whole beginning to end.
  • Provable leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain flexible and positive through changing circumstances.
  • Safety OSHA 30 preferred. Will be required upon hiring.
  • Clean driving record past 5 years preferred.
