Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager position is a hands-on role requiring a front-line leader to take responsibility for the company’s efforts to support customers after disaster strikes their homes and businesses. Project Managers inspect new projects, determine the planned course of action, monitor the project, and adjust actions to keep the project moving forward while maintaining required standards.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Provide on-site support by guiding technicians who are completing the scope of work on losses.
  • Complete all required documentation for losses, including sketch and scope sheet for estimate.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including adjusters and customers.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
  • Actively participate in the on-call schedule, as assigned.
  • Develop and write competed estimates by utilizing Xactimate, or other related applications
  • Ability to successfully maneuver a rotating on-call schedule
  • Other duties as assigned or apparent.

  • 1 year of experience in a management role or in the disaster restoration industry

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record

  • Previous experience with DocuSketch, Mica, Dash, Clerk of the Works/T amp;M, Xactimate
Work Environment
This is a combination in-field/office position that requires frequent travel to and from active jobsites. Jobsites may contain asbestos, microbial growth, lead, or other hazardous materials; personal protective equipment or PPE will be provided.
Jobsites may or may not have electricity; expect to work in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Physical Demands
This position will typically require the employee to stand or walk for extended periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor. Expect to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items often for this position.
