Job Description: Assistant Superintendent - Construction
Company Overview

We are committed to building structures that not only fulfill our client's vision but also stand the test of time, symbolizing reliability and excellence.
 
Job Location
This position is site-based in the Santa Rosa area. 
Qualifications
  • Required Experience: 5 years minimum as an Assistant Superintendent or 10 years minimum as a Foreman
  • Desired experience:
    • Ground-up builds, small to medium-size projects. 
    • Structural steel, concrete, and site work.
    • Multifamily residence.
  • Must have valid CA driver’s license 
  • Must be able to travel throughout Northern California as projects demand. 
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with project management software preferred (e.g., ProCore, MS Project). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite necessary.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in project supervision, and a keen eye for detail are essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently is required
  • Certifications: OSHA-30 and CPR/First Aid (both can be completed after hire) 
Responsibilities
The Assistant Superintendent will be instrumental in supporting the site superintendent, with responsibilities including but not limited to:
  • Overall project supervision, safety, and critical path.
  • Assisting in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Coordinating between project stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Managing project documentation, including plans, reports, photos, and compliance documents.
  • Supporting the project manager and/or site superintendent in procurement and quality assurance efforts.
  • Participating in site inspections and project meetings to ensure adherence to safety and project specifications.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is based on experience. We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $95,000 per year. Our comprehensive benefits package includes 401k, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Company vehicle or vehicle allowance and gas card provided.
