We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Construction Management market segment in the East Bay Area.

Assistant Project Manager day-to-day:

  • Demonstrates functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Obtain, maintain, and administer the data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company between owner, architects, engineers, contractors/subcontractors, or other project-related entities
  • Assist with coordinating, directing and monitoring activities of contractors/subcontractors, engineers, architects and related performing entities, in areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment
  • Support estimating, costs, project controls, scheduling, materials, and application administration
  • Participate in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
  • Demonstrates knowledge of self-perform trades and trade contracting including productivity, construction means and methods
  • Provide administration and processing of project logistics, organization, safety, and manpower utilization
  • Price and submit change orders to the owner in accordance with the project budget and accounting team
  • Lead project closeout to secure guarantees, warranties, and related provisions for final project delivery to owner entities
  • Provide all services and objectives for the application of Roebbelen standards and quality project deliverables
  • Perform other duties as required

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business administration or similar area of study
  • 3+ years of experience in supporting the management of construction activities on construction, engineering or architectural-related projects with increasing responsibility
  • Knowledge and application of construction project site safety principles and best practices in accordance with OSHA and Roebbelen standards
  • Working Knowledge of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering and construction principles, techniques, and materials
  • Understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Applied experience in the areas of project accounting, cost, administrative, and collaboration in a project team environment
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Proficient with project-related systems, such as Procore, Bluebeam, Sure Trak, and Primavera
  • Ability to represent Roebbelen in a professional manner, in alignment with the company mission, purpose, core values, and standards of conduct
