Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager (Architecture) supports the Project Manager in coordinating and executing projects, ensuring design excellence and effective project delivery. This role bridges the gap between architectural design and project management, helping to oversee all phases of a project, from initial concept through construction administration. The ideal candidate has a background in architecture and is eager to grow into a leadership role in project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and managing architectural projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are maintained.
  • Design Coordination: Work closely with the design team to ensure that project concepts align with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items to ensure client satisfaction and project alignment.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review design documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in the research and application of building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements for project approvals.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, report on the status of ongoing work, and identify any issues that need to be addressed.
  • Budget and Schedule Monitoring: Help track project budgets and schedules, making recommendations to the Project Manager to keep projects on track.
