Job description

Position Summary: Strong financial acumen and accounting expertise with the ability to support complex accounting and reporting topics, complemented by proficiency in financial systems and tools. The candidate will lead the optimization of ERP/ERX systems and integrate AI-driven tools to create efficiencies while maintaining proper compliance and controls.

Essential Duties:

  • Own the implementation, administration and structural optimization of the new ERP/ERX implementation.
  • Provide support (approximately 20% of time) for the internal audit department across other areas of the Company. Design, implement and document internal control improvements where appropriate.
  • Lead the adoption and scaling of AI-driven financial tools to create efficiencies within the Finance department.
  • Involvement in; external audit, monthly-close activities, investment accounting, various areas of reconciliation, regulatory filings and tax reporting.
  • Partner with FP&A and Data Analytics to ensure data integrity within finance systems, leading to accurate and timely enterprise financial analysis.
  • Support internal projects and strategic initiatives in various areas of the Company as a financial area resource/expert.
  • Develop finance/accounting related processes for new lines of business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3+ years’ experience; CPA highly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and AI-enabled accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Accounting software with the ability to thoroughly learn internal systems.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning and process improvement.
  • Thrives on working as part of a team to develop and implement project plans.
