The Senior Production Planner will play a key role in coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and collaborating cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, warehouse, quality, and customer service teams to ensure customer demand is consistently met. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and operational capacity.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as business needs change.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials, labor, and resources are available to support production.
• Help balance production priorities while maintaining efficiency and meeting delivery expectations.
• Monitor inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
• Work with internal teams to anticipate material needs and minimize shortages.
• Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels while reducing excess inventory.
• Partner with operations, purchasing, warehouse, quality, and customer service teams to ensure production plans are executed successfully.
• Communicate schedule updates and production priorities across departments.
• Support the introduction of new products and operational changes as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and operational efficiency.
• Analyze production trends and recommend improvements to scheduling and workflow.
• Support ongoing initiatives that improve productivity and service levels.
• Maintain accurate planning data and production records.
• Track key operational metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Assist with forecasting and long-range planning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3-8 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, or a related supply chain role.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Proficiency with common business software and planning systems.

Pay

$65,000-$90,000 per year

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
