**This position operates on a 9/80 schedule with 9-hour workdays M-Th, 8 hours on Friday with every other Friday off**

Material Analyst/Planner I:

Are you seeking a position that will place you in a unique warehouse seeing and offer exciting opportunities for cross-training and growth? This may be the position for you. 

What you’ll need to be our Material Analyst/Planner:

  • A mix of collaborative and independent: must work well with a team but be confident making autonomous decisions. 
  • Able to work with minimal direct supervision.  
  • Some decisions need to be made confidently; others must involve "big picture" collaboration. 
  • Mix of patience: repetitive tasks as well as shifting priorities. 
  • Time management skills, able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks with varying levels of urgency.
  • Detail oriented, follow processes as written, high quality.

What you’ll do as the Material Analyst/Planner:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's inventory and production requirements.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure that materials are available to meet production schedules while minimizing inventory costs.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and production schedules to develop and maintain materials plans that ensure adequate supply of materials to meet production requirements.
  • Facilitate effective project management, as well as develop and maintain metrics to track inventory levels, supplier performance, and materials costs, and regularly communicate results and forecasts to stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with suppliers to ensure that materials are delivered on time, to the required quality standards, and at the agreed price.
