Job description

Jones Powersports is seeking an experienced, driven, and customer-focused Powersports Sales & Finance Manager to lead our sales operations and oversee the finance process. This key leadership role is responsible for driving unit and profitability performance, developing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring a transparent, exceptional customer buying experience—all while upholding the values and standards of the Jones Family of Dealerships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed unit sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction goals
  • Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Maintain expert knowledge of new and pre-owned powersports inventory, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and related products
  • Review and approve all sales and finance deals to ensure accuracy, profitability, and compliance with dealership guidelines

Finance & Compliance

  • Oversee the finance and insurance (F&I) process to ensure a smooth, compliant, and customer-friendly experience
  • Present and explain financing, insurance, service contracts, and protection products clearly and ethically
  • Ensure all deals comply with state and federal regulations and internal policies

Customer Experience

  • Oversee the entire customer journey from initial inquiry through final delivery
  • Ensure a professional, transparent, and positive buying experience for every customer
  • Handle customer concerns or escalations promptly and effectively
  • Promote repeat business and long-term customer relationships

Inventory & Merchandising

  • Assist with inventory selection, pricing strategies, and floorplan management
  • Ensure showroom, sales floor, and lot presentation meet Jones Powersports standards
  • Monitor aging inventory and implement strategies to improve inventory turn

Team Development & Management

  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Lead sales meetings and ensure consistent use of approved sales processes and CRM tools

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Service, Parts, and Administrative teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Track and report sales performance metrics, forecasts, and trends to dealership leadership
  • Maintain strong communication across departments to support dealership goals

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement and acceptable driving record
  • Previous experience in powersports, automotive, or similar dealership sales required
  • Proven sales leadership and/or finance management experience
  • Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze sales and financial data to drive performance improvements
  • Working knowledge of F&I products and compliance standards preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Prior Powersports Sales Manager or F&I Manager experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM tools a plus
  • Strong understanding of the Lancaster and surrounding market
