Job description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for an Escrow Assistant opportunity in Modesto, CA. If you enjoy providing exceptional customer service, working in a detail-oriented environment, and supporting real estate transactions from start to finish, apply today!

Responsibilities for the Escrow Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative and customer service support to the Escrow department by assisting with escrow closings and daily operations.

  • Answer incoming calls, greet customers, place calls, and communicate with clients and business partners to gather information required for escrow closings.

  • Process opening orders, perform initial file setup, and maintain accurate escrow records throughout the transaction process.

  • Assist with the handling, tracking, deposit, and distribution of escrow funds, including preparing written transmittals for funds and documents.

  • Complete pre-closing file maintenance, handle reconveyances, and perform post-closing follow-up on assigned escrow files.

  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness while ensuring files are maintained according to company procedures and industry requirements.

Candidates for the Escrow Assistant position must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in the real estate, title, escrow, mortgage, or financial services industry preferred.

  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
