About the Role

Garden State Tile is seeking a dynamic, high-energy Assistant Operations Manager to co-lead our Bethlehem, PA branch. In this role, you will work side-by-side with the Operations Manager to oversee daily business goals, inspire staff, and deliver an unforgettable "concierge-level" customer experience. You are the ultimate team player, ready to step into the Operations Manager's shoes when they are away or jump into the warehouse or showroom to help the team win.

Requirements:

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Operations: Assist the Operations Manager with daily goals, scheduling, and personnel needs while stepping up in their absence.
  • Engage Teams: Foster a fully motivated environment through active delegation, continuous training, and daily support.
  • Grow Sales: Deliver memorable guest experiences and build authentic relationships with builders, designers, and contractors.
  • Master the Warehouse: Assist warehouse with issues, problems, coverage, cycle counts, inventory adjustments.
  • Master the Showroom: Cross-train thoroughly in the showroom to provide seamless coverage and act as the primary backup resource.
  • Support Inventory: Assist with order tracking, deliveries, and cycle counts while maintaining a spotless showroom.
  • Master Systems: Utilize Epicor Prophet P21 and Microsoft Office to efficiently run the barcoding process.
  • Adapt Daily: Cross-train across showroom and warehouse positions to ensure all daily output needs are met.
