Job Description

Expertise in Network Access Control utilizing ISE. Good understanding of 802.1x wirelessly and wired. Good knowledge of most Cisco equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Configuration, installation, testing, deployment, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation of network security, utilizing industry best practices for security, and business continuity, change control, and client support
  • Assisting in creation of robust network designs
  • Provide technical installation, implementation, and support of network-related equipment; coordinate strategic network projects.
  • Pro-actively identify organization's requirements, and help design, and engineer implementations that best serve the needs.
  • Provide assessment, design and implementation services of data and secure networking environments.
  • Assist internal groups through capacity planning, maintaining, monitoring and review of secure data communications networks.
  • Lead migrations or assist in a team of engineers who will migrate traditional/legacy network security platforms to current/next generation technologies, and expose customers to the fulllife-cycle of defense in depth solutions.
  • Assist network engineers in troubleshooting critical problems or threat remediation relating to network security products.
  • Perform project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data security networks.
  • Conduct studies analyzing user's requirements, identify alternative designs and solutions to ensure the client's network security needs are met.
  • Submit network connectivity specifications and offer recommendations based on study results
  • Communicate network status, provide quality documentation, and generate reports requested.
  • Adhere to Company's standards and procedures.
  • Attend daily/weekly meetings and interact regularly with management, clients, and incumbents to constantly improve network security engineering services.
  • Self-motivated and works well independently.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years' experience with PhD, 6+ years' experience with Master's Degree, 8+ years' experience with Bachelor's Degree or 14+ years of relevant experience without degree
  • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions. . Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and develop customized solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines.
  • Analytical, excellent communications, quick learner, self-starter.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.

  • Experience in a scripting language
