Assistant Marine Procurement roles involve supporting the procurement process for marine equipment, supplies, and services needed for shipping operations. These professionals assist with sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to vessels or marine facilities. They also help maintain records, manage inventory, and liaise with suppliers to resolve any supply chain issues. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of marine industry requirements.

Familiarity with procurement software (like SAP or Oracle), inventory management systems, and international shipping documentation is typically required. Strong negotiation, organization, and communication skills help you build vendor relationships and manage complex purchasing tasks efficiently.
