About the Opportunity
We are preparing to support the Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) Regional Contracting Office (RCO) in New Orleans. We are currently seeking qualified professionals to fill two critical roles: Procurement Analyst and E-Business Specialist.
These positions provide non-personal support services to ensure compliance with federal and Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition regulations. If you have a strong background in federal procurement and a passion for supporting our military forces, we want to hear from you.
Available Positions and Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Analyst
  • Research and analyze acquisition procedures to ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable policies.
  • Develop and recommend changes to contracting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide expert technical advice and administrative support to contracting officers and staff.
  • Assist in the review of contract documentation and procurement requests..

E-Business Specialist
  • Assist with data management, reporting, and user support for DoD e-Business systems.
  • Provide troubleshooting for systems including the System for Award Management (SAM), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIE), and the Electronic Procurement System (ePS).
  • Support contracting officers with system navigation and data integrity.
  • Develop training or guidance materials for system users as needed.
