Cherry County Hospital & Clinic is looking for a Clinic Medical Assistant to join our team. This position provides professional clinical support to our healthcare providers while helping ensure patients receive compassionate, efficient, and quality care.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare patients for examinations and obtain accurate histories and vital signs.
  • Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and office procedures.
  • Support office surgeries and maintain sterile technique.
  • Educate patients on medications, testing, and treatment plans as directed by providers.
  • Schedule diagnostic testing and coordinate appointments.
  • Triage patients according to provider protocols.
  • Manage clinical phone calls, messages, prescriptions, and refills.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Prepare, clean, and restock examination rooms and clinical equipment.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and hospital policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
