Position Overview

The Inventory Coordinator for Global Spare Parts will oversee the accuracy, availability, and movement of critical components stored across multiple warehouse locations. This role ensures that Project, Commissioning, and Service teams always have the right parts at the right time to support commissioning and post-commissioning needs for many of the largest utility scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the world. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent record‑keeping ability, and the ability to analyze data and manage inventory flows across a distributed network. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to grow a career in supply chain in the energy market. This position reports to the Manager of Global Spares and can be based out of Phoenix, AZ or Westborough, MA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate inventory records in the company’s ERP/Inventory management system
  • Track incoming and outgoing shipments of spare parts
  • Coordinate stock transfers between sites and track inter‑warehouse movements
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve issues
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or overstock situations to management
  • Prepare inventory reports and dashboards for internal teams
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Logistics to ensure timely material availability
  • Assist with full physical inventory audits across multiple warehouse/site locations
  • Identify slow‑moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend corrective actions

Specific Skills/Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with ERP inventory management software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle)
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and data entry
  • Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally

Education/Experience

  • 1-2 years managing spare parts or MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) inventory
  • Experience in energy storage, manufacturing, or utilities industries
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years additional experience in spare parts management, supply chain, or logistics
