About the Position
The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to fulfillment center leadership, supporting a high-volume, fast-paced hourly workforce. This role drives the people strategy aligned with operational goals, focusing on employee relations, workforce planning, engagement, compliance, and leadership coaching.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with site leadership to develop HR strategies aligned with operational goals
  • Provide workforce data insights and recommend actions
  • Coach managers on leadership and performance
  • Create and maintain a positive employee relations culture
  • Manage employee relations issues and investigations
  • Support workforce planning and hiring strategies
  • Lead performance management processes
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and policies
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years supporting an hourly workforce
  • Ability to quickly build rapports with all levels of employees
  • Experience in fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong employee relations experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years HR experience
  • Multi-shift operations experience
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM)

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced fulfillment center environment with regular floor presence and support across multiple shifts.
  • Floor Mobility: Frequent walking across large warehouse floors, climbing stairs or mezzanines, and navigating around active equipment like forklifts and conveyor belts.
  • Endurance: Standing and walking for extended periods (often 4-8 hours) during facility tours, training sessions, or floor observations.
  • Lifting & Carrying: The ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 to 50 lbs, such as boxes, office supplies, or event materials.
  • Ergonomic Posture: Reaching overhead, bending, twisting, crouching, or kneeling to access files or assist with occasional hands-on operations during busy periods.
  • Environment Tolerance: Working in varying industrial environments, including fluctuating temperatures, loud noise levels, and exposure to dust.
