Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday-Friday, 6:30am-5pm

Highlights of the position:

  • Clinical Leadership & Team Partnership: Works closely with the leadership team to ensure clinical operations are patient-centered, mission-focused, and always improving through best practices.
  • Daily Support of MA Team Operations: Partners with the Clinical Operations Supervisor to support the Medical Assistant team each day, modeling compassionate care for patients and strong service to providers.
  • Training, Coaching & Staff Development: Assists with hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of the MA team to support strong performance, skill growth, and clinical competency.
  • Culture, Engagement & Team Support: Fosters a positive, supportive work environment by encouraging teamwork, professional growth, and excellence at all levels of staff.
  • Workflow Improvement & Care Collaboration: Works with practice leadership to improve workflows, support process changes, and strengthen the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Direct Patient Care & MA Responsibilities: Provides direct Medical Assistant support as outlined in PCHCโ€™s MA job description and clinical competency checklist, remaining flexible to meet daily clinic needs and support providers as needed.

    Education and Experience:

    • A college degree is preferred. High school diploma required.
    • Minimum of three years of experience in a primary healthcare or related professional setting as a Medical Assistant required.
    • Demonstrated aptitude for supervision and/or leadership roles. Relevant experience in a position with some leadership responsibility at PCHC may be substituted for previous supervisory experience.
    • Certified Medical Assistant through the AAMA preferred.
    • Will have up to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.
