Requirements:

To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.  Successful completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course preferred.  Completion of a vocational program preferred.
• Experience: Experience in a hospital or similar facility preferred.
• Licenses/Certification: Maintenance of CPR/BLS

Responsibilities:

We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services.  As part of the team you will:

• Make observational rounds as directed by the professional nurse
• Observe and assist patients and report findings under the direction of the professional nurse
• Assist to maintain a safe, orderly, clean and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees
• Under the direction of the professional nurse, assist in performing selected procedures, simple treatments, comfort and safety measures and activities of daily living for patients.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge of patient

Physical Requirements

Occasionally (0-33%) – Walking, sitting, feeling, crouching/squatting, stooping, kneeling, stairs, lifting/lowering (0-50 lbs), carrying (0-50 lbs), carrying (0-50 lbs)

Frequently (34 – 66%) - Standing, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, pinching

Continuously (37 -100%) See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.60/hr, depending on experience.
