Job description

Supervising Pediatric Physical Therapist
Outpatient Clinic • Tulsa, OK • Full-Time • 74-86k/year • Up to 8k signing bonus
Therapitas is a nonprofit that has served Spanish-speaking families in Oklahoma since 2015 with one mission: ensuring Spanish-speaking children have the same access to quality therapy as any other child.
We're hiring an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team in Tulsa. Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required. We provide trained interpreter support. And for those who want to learn: we'll provide Spanish lessons or send you to Antigua, Guatemala.
Why Join Therapitas?
  • Spanish Immersion Program (SIP): Want to learn Spanish? We'll send you to Antigua, Guatemala to immerse yourself in the language and culture. We partner with schools and host families to give you a structured, safe experience abroad. All experience levels welcome. Watch this video for more information about SIP.
  • Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a team that expands access to care and makes a meaningful difference for children and families.
  • A Sustainable Caseload: Most therapists carry about 23-28 hours of direct therapy per week, with caseloads built around experience and preferences.
  • Work-Life Balance: Documentation gets done at work, not at home. We build documentation time into your schedule, protect your lunch hour, and use unfilled cancellations as additional documentation time.
  • Structured Mentorship and Support: New hires go through a formal training and ramp-up period, with ongoing support through regular one-on-ones, documentation guidance, and professional development.
  • Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced OTs, PTs, SLPs, and support staff who value teamwork, growth, and excellent care.
What We're Looking For
• DPT or PT degree from an accredited program
• Oklahoma PT license or eligibility to obtain
• Someone with 3+ years of experience in pediatrics who is willing and eager to take on students and supervise PTAs.
• Passion for working with children and families
• Mission-driven approach to care
What You'll Do
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients
• Provide skilled intervention to improve strength, mobility, motor development, and functional independence
• Document services in our easy-to-use EMR to meet clinical standards and payer requirements
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Physical Therapy students
What We Offer
💰 $74,000 - $86,000 / year based on schedule and experience with up to $8,000 signing bonus available for candidates not participating in SIP.
🏥 Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurance

📚 Continuing education and licensure assistance
📅 Monday-Friday schedule only
