Job description

Healthcare AI Call QA Labeler - Spanish (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador)

$15-20/hr Remote Freelance LANGUAGE

About the Role

What if your attention to detail and understanding of Central American Spanish healthcare conversations could directly shape how AI assistants interact with patients? We're looking for thorough QA labelers to evaluate and annotate AI healthcare call transcripts in Central American Spanish — helping AI systems learn to handle real patient interactions with accuracy and care.

This means assessing the nuanced reality of healthcare communication in Central American Spanish: identifying where the AI handles patient concerns appropriately, where audio quality affects understanding (coughs, mumbles, whispers), how the AI manages scheduling and patient education, and whether responses align with care protocols. If you have a sharp ear for Central American Spanish nuance and the patience to evaluate every interaction carefully, this role is for you.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just native or near-native Central American Spanish fluency, strong communication skills, the ability to follow detailed evaluation guidelines, and familiarity with healthcare basics.

What You'll Do
  • Review transcripts of AI-assisted healthcare calls and evaluate interaction quality
  • Assess how the AI handles patient responses, including unclear or difficult audio conditions
  • Identify whether the AI correctly confirms key patient information (date of birth, appointment details, etc.)
  • Evaluate the AI's ability to address patient health concerns while staying within appropriate boundaries
  • Assess the clarity and completeness of information provided to patients about scheduling and next steps
  • Follow detailed annotation guidelines and labeling conventions consistently across all calls
  • Flag instances where the AI response may be unclear or where patient confusion occurs
  • Maintain high accuracy and consistency across large volumes of call transcripts
  • Work independently on your own schedule
Who You Are
  • Native or near-native fluency in Central American Spanish (Honduras, Guatemala, or El Salvador) — both speaking and writing
  • Excellent attention to detail with a systematic approach to evaluation work
  • Naturally critical thinker who can assess communication quality and identify gaps
  • Comfortable analyzing healthcare-related conversations and medical terminology in Central American Spanish
  • Able to follow detailed labeling and annotation guidelines accurately and consistently
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
  • Access to a quiet workspace, reliable internet, and a computer
Nice to Have
  • Professional experience in healthcare, customer service, or patient communication in Central America
  • Background in quality assurance, content moderation, or data annotation
  • Training or education in healthcare administration or patient care
  • Prior work with annotation platforms or data labeling tools
  • Experience with medical terminology and healthcare workflows in Spanish
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems or appointment management
  • Understanding of Central American healthcare systems or insurance processes
Why Join Us
  • Work on cutting-edge AI healthcare projects that directly improve patient interactions
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with clear, structured tasks
  • Contribute to AI development that helps healthcare teams serve patients better
  • Build skills in a growing field at the intersection of healthcare and AI
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
Project Details
  • Scope: 2,500 call transcripts to evaluate
  • Estimated time per transcript: Approximately 20 minutes
  • Timeline: Still being finalized
  • Total estimated hours: Approximately 1,250-1,667 hours (flexible scheduling)
