Production Assistant Job Description
Pachamama Coffee is a California-based roaster and retailer of specialty coffee owned by thousands of family farmers in Latin America and Africa. A global cooperative, Pachamama was founded in 2006 by coffee farmers in Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico and Ethiopia, in order to market their coffee through a vertically-integrated (seed to cup) business model. Based in Sacramento, Pachamama is growing fast with local cafes, a national wholesale business and a direct-to-consumer online platform.

Position: In person, weekday afternoons, occasional weekends. This is an entry level position with strong growth potential.
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA
Starting pay: $18.50 per hour.
Core Responsibilities
- Package roasted coffee.
- Perform set up and take down procedures for coffee packing equipment.
- Assist in maintaining production facility cleanliness and orderliness.
- Assist in maintaining conditions to facilitate compliance with food safety and workplace safety regulations.
