BAKER MUFFINS DANISH PROOF AND BAKE / FULL TIME 3:30PM TO MIDNIGH

French Wholesale Bakery, family business, is expanding and recruiting in production, looking for voluntary person, passionate, and dedicated, that is open minded and a team player.
BAKER PACKER position, ideal for a person willing to learn how to make and bake MORNING PASTRIES.

Full-Time positions available, hours 3:30PM TO 12AM

We have high standards and expect hardworking people, adaptable, creative, extremely positive and quality oriented, excited to grow with this company. We want people that are capable of understanding our brand to its core and see that manifest itself in our kitchen.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The bakery is a 5900 sqft fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. Our primary focus for your position is on morning pastries. We bake everything fresh from scratch on site every day. We offer only home made products, bread, morning pastries, fine pastries.
THE JOB:
The goal of this role is to work meticulously with expediency.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Properly weigh and follow recipes to ensure consistency in final product.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space.
  • Proof and bake all morning pastries.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Team-oriented and collaborative in contribution to an interdependent team.
  • .Perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Penchant for understanding instruction and adhering to recipes.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must be familiar with the different morning pastries concept & presentation, and bakery practices as well as using ovens.
  • Respect the company's recipes & operating codes.
  • Reliability to arrive to work on time.
  • Current Food Handlers Card Walking, standing all day, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, bending to the floor many times a day, are part of the job.
  • Must be able to read, write and do math.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ years experience AT THE SAME POSITION.
  • Motivated and quick learner accepted.
DETAILS:
  • Hours: Full-time - afternoon/early evening shift.
  • Wage: Competitive and dependent on experience.

Pitchoun is a family story! Frédéric and Fabienne Souliès are both French; he is from the South West of France and she is from Monaco, French Riviera. "Pitchoun" is a French affectionate term meaning "kiddo"— in a loving way. Frédéric comes from a family of French bakers and farmers. He inherited the love of the product and the passion of the work. The respect of natural resources and of seasonal foods is in his DNA. Fabienne’s family has always cooked, too. Her family had a flair for Mediterranean cuisine with an Italian twist, and was involved in the food industry.Frédéric thus naturally learned to bake and graduated from the renowned bakery school in Paris, France “Ecole de Boulangerie Patisserie de Paris”. After many years as the general manager of a French food manufacturing company, Frederic decided to live his dream and work out of passion-baking!His wife, Fabienne, and their three young "pitchouns" have happily settled down in Los Angeles with the intent of sharing their best family recipes!
