Job Description Summary
Position Objectives:
As an Assistant Foreman, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution and profitable delivery of projects by providing hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with project leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
Core Project & Operational Support
  • System Mobilization and Decommissioning: Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems, including:
    • Pumping Systems
    • Power Generation and Distribution Systems
    • HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
    • Energy and Temporary Utility Systems
  • Emergency and Disaster Response: Actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts

Safety and Compliance Leadership
  • Safety Assurance: Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices for every task and duty
  • Compliance Oversight: Identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls to guarantee the team operates in a manner that ensures project execution and minimizes risk

Project Coordination and Efficiency
  • Execution Support: Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation
  • Performance and Delivery: Ensure projects are completed on time and that all deployed equipment is running efficiently to guarantee profitable delivery and client satisfaction

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus
  • Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, a/c and heat and water restoration or construction equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with customers, team members and internal resources

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 29.39
