ABOUT THE ROLE 
The Financial Reporting Lead provides management reporting, financial analysis, and decision support. This position works to improve understanding of key business drivers and maximize results within the country/markets. The role works closely with, and in support of, the FP&A Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Provide analysis to support business decisions.
  • Participate in the production of monthly reporting package.
  • Prepare detailed month end analysis for cash flow, corporate cost, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain forecasting file to collect and report weekly/monthly/annual performance.
  • Perform standard and ad hoc financial analyses for country/markets/segments.
  • Monitor and ensure Month End reporting schedules and commitments are adhered to.
  • Adapt to ever evolving reporting requirements and accordingly update/develop reports.
  • Apply understanding of accounting principles, including controls and standards, in various scenarios.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requirement for country.
  • Coordinate with SAP analytics team and provide the necessary support to them for hierarchy changes, report feedbacks after coordinating with different markets.
  • Liaise with Shared Services Centre to ensure collaborative achievement of Finance objectives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments.
  • Assist with planning and execution of various forecasting campaigns.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's Degree.
Additional Education Preferred: CPA or equivalent recognized accounting and finance designation. CA, CMA, CGA or CPA Preferred.
Field of Study Preferred: Business with a major in Accounting and Finance. 
Required Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting and financial management experience with increasing responsibility. Audit firm experience of Big 4 will be an asset
Required Technical Skills: Experience with SAP FC, SAP ECC/BPC is an asset. Advanced Google sheets/MS Excel for reporting and data analysis. IFRS and US GAAP Technical skills and experience
Travel Requirements: 10%
