WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Role:

The Financial Systems Analyst supports the Finance organization by maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing financial systems, reporting tools, and business processes. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role serves as the primary point of contact between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure financial systems support accurate reporting, scalable processes, and data-driven decision-making.

This role is responsible for improving financial reporting, automating manual processes, maintaining data integrity across systems, and supporting ERP enhancements. The Financial Systems Analyst will work closely with FP&A, Accounting, Revenue Management, Operations, and IT to identify system improvement opportunities and deliver solutions that increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve visibility into business performance.

Responsibilities:

Financial Systems & Processes

  • Support the administration and optimization of NetSuite and related financial applications.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, saved searches in NetSuite and other financial reporting tools like Excel and BI solutions.
  • Lead NetSuite enhancement initiatives, system upgrades, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment of new functionality to support the company's transition to U.S. GAAP, acquisition integration, process automation, and future SOX readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual financial and operational processes.
  • Implement system enhancements and workflow improvements that increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Reduce reliance on spreadsheets through automation and standardized reporting solutions.
  • Support manufacturing accounting processes including work orders, assemblies, inventory movements, and eventual adoption of standard costing.
  • Maintain system documentation, process maps, and end-user training manuals.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Revenue Management, Operations, and IT teams to support business requirements.
  • Gather and translate business needs into practical system solutions.
  • Provide training and support to system users.
  • Participate in ERP, reporting, and process improvement projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in financial systems, FP&A, or business analytics.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is preferred.
  • Experience supporting reporting, forecasting, budgeting, or accounting processes.
  • CPA or related certification is considered an asset.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial, accounting and business processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with Power Query, SQL.
  • Experience with reporting and BI tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.
