Here's how a Financial Systems Specialist for PCL Constructors Inc. within Edmonton NAHQ contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Provides end-user support for the applicable areas within the ERP applications.
  • Provides end-user support on the interface between the ERP and the affiliated internal and external applications.
  • Assists in the research, analysis and implementation of system fixes, enhancements, and upgrades related to the ERP system.
  • Works with external business partners for technical assistance.
  • Tests system fixes and enhancements for the ERP system.
  • Assists in creating and promoting fixes and enhancements from development through production environments following the ERP change management process.
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of end-user documentation.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
Qualifications
    • 3 years of progressive experience in a related field preferred.
    • Project accounting experience within the construction or a related industry preferred.
    • Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline preferred.
    • Pursuit of an accounting designation considered an asset.
    • Ability to learn and apply relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
    • Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
    • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with employees at all levels and areas of the organization including external partners.
    • Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.
    • Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
    • Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software.
